Welcome to Living Hope In The Slope!

We are followers of Jesus! This is our primary and principal goal as a community.  This Journey began by the amazing love of God speaking to our hearts and minds through the living word, Jesus the Christ.  We considered him, and in doing, we saw ourselves, and our need. So we follow Jesus, because we believe he is the only hope for the human family to achieve the purpose, and reach the destiny God has for us.  We are from different social, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds. We are at different stages of Christian development, but we have one thing in common, we have decided to follow Jesus.  So if you visit us you will find a group of forgiven people, young and older, extroverted and introverted navigating life situations with a living hope in Jesus, to lead us home. Thinking about changing your direction? Or helping someone find a new one, we are your community.

 What to expect?

*    Biblical Teaching: We believe that everything humanity needs to reestablish and maintain proper relationship with God, and each other can be found in the written word. If it’s ain't broke don’t fix it.

*    Transparent Worship: The living Word Jesus informed us that we should worship in spirit and in truth. We come as we are and worship him from the core of who we are. This may look different from person to person, but that’s ok we come to worship Jesus not man.

*    Welcoming People: We love because Jesus loves us! You don’t have to agree with us, look like us or worship like us, we still love you, we have to because you were made in the image of God, and we can’t very well love him if we don’t love you.

What to wear?

*    Clothes: Some wear jeans; some wear suits Just wear something.

What’s the catch?

*    None! You won’t be singled out, or expected to do or say anything.  You can contribute if you like or not.  God’s house is a house of prayer for all people.
