Mary Hendrickson (M.A. in Counseling Psychology, MFT)
Mary has been with us since August, 2010 since moving to Brooklyn with Craig and Amaya. Mary was hired by Renew Counseling in April, 2011 to begin a personal and family counseling center at Living Hope. Mary brings a wealth of experience into her current role. While completing her masters degree in Southern California, Mary served her practicum at View Heights Convalescent Home, where she worked with live-in residents diagnosed with various forms of schizophrenia and bi-polar disorders. Upon graduation she then began work at Fuller Family and Psychological Services where she worked with individuals in need of personal therapy for various mental health issues. Mary’s passion is helping individuals and couple find personal and relational wholeness so that they may live the lives God has designed them for.
When she is not working, Mary spends countless hours pursuing her obsessions. :) She is addicted to bootcamp, yoga, pilates, and zumba, and often needs to be carried home by her husband! (Just kidding...she usually carries him home from Hapkido) She is also a talented hip hop dancer and instructor, and expresses herself through spoken word.
